Olson, 80 Harold James Olson, 80, of Sun City West, Ariz., and a former resident of Hudson, died presumably of a head aneurysm Wednesday, Oct. 23, at a Sun City Hospital. He was born in Hudson June 9, 1922, the son of John N. and Hilma (Antonson) Olson. He attended local schools, graduating from Hudson High School in 1940, and later from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in England, where he was a mechanic for B-17 aircraft. On June 20, 1946, in Hudson, he was married to Marion Arlene Hope, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence "Corky" Hope. For many years he was employed as a principal systems engineer for Honeywell Inc. After his retirement he and his wife moved to Arizona, where he was an active member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Kiwanis International, University of Minnesota Alumni and other organizations. For the past five years he led Bible studies for the Prison Fellowship Ministries. Preceding him in death were his parents. Surviving are his wife, Marion of Sun City West; two daughters, Adrian Schueneman of Monterey, Calif., and Arlayne Eseman of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren, Steven, Nora and Nancy Schueneman and Connelly and Jonathan Eseman; a brother, Arthur N. Olson of North Port, Fla.; and a sister, Dorothy Resell of Harlingen, Texas. He was a brother-in-law of John D. "Jack" and Willetta A.
