Scholl, 85 Agnes Ann Scholl, 85, of Hudson died at home Saturday, Jan. 11. Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Sumner, Iowa, to Conrad and Katherine (Teaberg) Knecht, she attended school in Swaledale, Iowa. On Aug. 4, 1935, she was married to Clifford Nicholas Scholl in Rockwell, Iowa, and was employed by Ann’s Cafe for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, vegetable and flower gardening, crocheting and traveling. Over the last 20 years she wintered in Mesa, Ariz. Preceding her in death were her husband, Cliff, and a daughter, Dorothy Callanan. Surviving are two children, Margaret (James) Woodruff and Donald (Jean) Scholl of Hudson; a sister, Florence Twardy of Galt, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Lavon (Joe) Rooney of Dougherty, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Ralph (Ida Rose) Scholl of Rockwell, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial mass will be Friday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Peter Szleszinski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Building Fund.
