"Bye" Bylander, 83 Lyonil Oren Bylander, 83, formerly of Hudson, died of heart failure Monday, Nov. 25, at his home in Coon Rapids, Minn. He was born in Hudson Dec. 30, 1918, the son of Arvid and Emily L. (Williams) Bylander, and attended elementary and high school in Hudson. He was the former owner of Shimek and Bylander Cabinets in Fridley, Minn., Lowry Central Bowlers Supply in Minneapolis and part owner of the Spring Lake Park bowling alley and roller rink. About 10 years ago he sold Lowry Central. He was inducted into the Minneapolis Bowler's Hall of Fame in 1990 for meritorious service and was an avid golfer. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Audrey, in 1996; a sister, Lotus Avon Dittman, in 1982; and a brother, Duvonne Lorrell Bylander, in 1998. Surviving are his four children Marlene (Bill) McCausland of Burnsville, Minn., Lyonil D. "Butch" (Darlene) Bylander of Ham Lake, Minn., Barbara (Jerry) Bailey of Fridley and Marcia Ziemke (Don Hyland) of Blaine, Minn.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Juvene Livingstone Bylander of River Falls, Lowell Donnie Bylander of Lindstrom, Minn., Gary St. James Bylander of Abilene, Texas, and Cevelius Theodore Bylander of Vergas, Minn.; and two sisters, Twila Lou Allums of Columbus, Ohio, and Fort Myers, Fla., and San Lo Pribble of Almena. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Miller Funeral Home in Fridley, Minn., with burial in Morningside Gardens in Coon Rapids, Minn.
