Craig was born March 5, 1963 in Rice Lake, the son of Larry and Linda (Johnson) Wiese. He received his elementary and high schooling in Rice Lake graduating in the class of 1981. On October 6, 1984, he was united in marriage to Lori Johnson at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake. This union was blessed with children Sara and Jon. In 1992 he and his family moved to Menomonie where he worked for AFG Glass. In 1999 he moved to Roberts where he worked for Johnson Controls in Hudson and currently worked for QC Inspection in Burnsville, Minn. Craig was a devoted faith member of Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts where he served as a church board member and prayer minister. He was an active member of the Roberts Lion’s Club and an avid fan of NASCAR racing. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. His love of outdoors brought him to appreciate the beauty of woodworking and carpentry. He will be best remembered as a friend to all. Craig leaves to celebrate his life, wife Lori; children Sara, 17, and Jon, 15; parents, Larry and Linda Wiese of Rice Lake; brothers, Brent Wiese of Rice Lake and children Travis and Becky, Cory (Tami) Wiese of Wausau and children Cody, Cole, and Colton; and in-laws, Gladys (Roger) Roux of Cumberland, and Fred (Debbie) Johnson of Wyoming, Minn. Craig is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Claude and Cathrine Johnson, and paternal grandmother Eunice Schlag. Celebration of life for Craig was 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8 at Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts. Pastor Dean Simpson officiated. Visitation was Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts. Burial was in the Warren Cemetery of Roberts. Casketbearers were Travis Oraskovich, Dave Mulcahy, Robert Henson, Gary Burns, Tom Sullwold, and Paul Heimel.
