Jane Ernst, 84 Dorothy Jane Ernst, 84, of Mendota Heights, Minn., formerly of Hudson, died Sunday, Dec. 29, after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 20, 1918, to Maurice and Ceceile Hurley and was married in 1958 to Charles W. Ernst. The couple lived in Hudson until the early 1970s. Jane was employed with Brown & Bigelow and later American National Bank, both in St. Paul. The couple later divorced, and Charles died in 1978. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Maurice. Surviving are three children, Frederick E. Christopherson, Barbara J. (Thomas) Rooney and John M. Christopherson; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey (Robert) Kaschke. Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 2, in St. Paul.
