DeCosse, 79, died Sept. 21, 2002 Eileen Mary DeCosse, 79, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Deer Park, died Saturday, Sept. 21. She was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Glenwood City, the daughter of Andre and Anna (Devine) Rivard. In 1944 she was married to Vilbon DeCosse. She and her husband owned and operated DeCosse's Bar in Deer Park for 40 years, from 1951 to 1991. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Vilbon; a granddaughter, Trisha DeCosse; and a great-grandchild, Kaden DeCosse. Surviving are two sons, Earl (Kathy Halverson) DeCosse of Brandon, S.D., and Bruce (Kathy Hervas) DeCosse of Chetek; two daughters, Joy (Warren) Knowles of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Shelly DeCosse of Deer Park; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Adeline Emerson and Aryliss Plourde, both of New Richmond, Helen Johnson of River Falls and Lillyann Hartmon of Hudson. A visitation and Rosary will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Cullen-Hegstrom Funeral Home in New Richmond. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset with Father James Brinkman and Deacon Maurice Baillargeon officiating. Music will be provided by Janelle Sutherland.
