Byrne, 52, died Oct. 7, 2002 Lynda Carol Byrne, 52, of Woodbury, Minn., formerly of Hudson, died at home of cancer Monday evening, Oct. 7. She was born June 24, 1950, in Rice Lake, the daughter of Gordon and Jean (Randall) Anderson. She attended elementary school in Chetek, graduated from Hudson High School in 1968 and earned a bachelor's degree in business from Augsburg College in the Twin Cities. While attending school, she began her career with 3M Co. in St. Paul. She later transferred from the parent company to the Imation Co., where she was the supervisor overseeing the fleet division's maintenance and records. In 1969, she was married to Krage Vindal in South Dakota and was later divorced. In 1984, she was married to Gerald Byrne in St. Paul, Minn. The couple lived in Oakdale and Woodbury for the majority of their married life. She was an avid arts and crafts hobbyist, enjoyed making quilts, painting, shopping for antiques and refinishing them. She especially enjoyed being with her family. Preceding her in death was a grandson, Carter Bradbury. Surviving are her husband, Jerry; her daughter from her first marriage, Jennifer (Jeremy) Bradbury of Andover, Minn.; a grandchild, Hayden Bradbury of Andover; her parents, Gordon and Jean Anderson of Hudson; and three brothers, Ronald (Patty) Anderson of Madison, Jeffrey (Pam) Anderson of Hudson and Bradley (Robin) Anderson of Pella, Iowa. Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 10 (today), 5-7 p.m., at O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson with Pastor Joanne Sorenson of Bethel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mahtomedi, Minn.
