Miller, 85 Isabelle E. Miller, 85, formerly of La Crosse, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, at the Christian Community Home in Hudson where she resided for the past two years. She was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Elroy, the daughter of George and Catherine (Bruggen) Ebert. On June 17, 1917, in La Crosse, she was married to LeRoy Frederick Miller. She was a member of the Garden Club, the Volunteer Ministries at Lutheran Hospital and an active member of St. Ann’s Ladies Society of Holy Trinity Parish, all in La Crosse. She enjoyed painting, sewing, dancing and traveling. Surviving are five daughters, Judith Shilling of St. Paul, Donna (Phil) Miller-Hicks of St. George, Vt., Mary (James) Hass of Cottage Grove, Minn., Gloria (Thomas L.) Clark of North Hudson, and Katherine Miller of Kissimmee, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Katherine Ebert; her husband LeRoy, in 1997; her son, LeRoy Louis, in 1968; 11 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse with Father Lawrence Berger officiating. Mary Kulas was organist for the church choir. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in La Crosse where casketbearers were Justin Miller, John Clark, Michael Sarazin, David Fulmer, Dan Anderson, David Sparks, Bradman Smith and Joe Sarazin.
