Wolf, Sr., 57 June 20, 1945 - April 27, 2003 James E. Wolf, Sr., formerly of New Richmond, died April 27, 2003 at the V. A. Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minn, after a battle with cancer. Jim was born June 20, 1945 at Holy Family Hospital in New Richmond. Jim graduated from the New Richmond High School in 1963. He then enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1964. Jim found a love for cooking. He owned and ran many restaurants throughout his life. Jim also found comfort in helping people that were less fortunate. He was always a person you could go to if you needed help or even just to talk. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wolf. Jim is survived by his son Jim (Holly) Wolf of Hudson; his daughter Tracy (Brian) Hennen of Shakopee, Minn.; brothers, Steve (Renee) Wolf of New Richmond, Gary (JoAnne) Wolf of Stillwater, Minn.; mother Marge Wolf of New Richmond and seven nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held May 2 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond with Father Allan Bradley officiating. Burial of cremation remains occurred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn. Deacon Hugh Mayor officiated.
