I am hopefully planning on coming to the St. Croix, Hudson, River Falls area on a genealogy trip in the very near future - possibly end of June. I am specifically searching for the MILBEE and BOWRON families. As I have never done this before, I'm not sure any of what I may want to do is even possible or how to go about obtaining some items: Searching for birth, marriage, death records probate records, etc. land records church, cemetery and birth records whatever else is available to me What might I have access to of any of the above - viewing actual items, copies of or on film? What restrictions might there be? What do I need to bring (aside from the obvious) - i.e. ID's? Would a laptop generally be allowed? I am a Wisconsin resident and have been to the State Historical Society frequently in the past is this helps for background info. Thank you - I certainly will appreciate any help in this area!
