Chevrier, 77 Oct. 3, 1925 - June 21, 2003 Irene F. Chevrier of Glenwood City died Saturday, June 21 at Glenhaven Nursing Home in Glenwood City. Irene was born Oct. 3, 1925 in Glenwood City to William and Hedwig (Ruff) Chevrier. Irene lived with her parents most of her life, where she helped her mother with the ironing. Irene also worked sanding and painting boards. After her mother’s death Irene moved into Glenhaven Nursing Home. Irene is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leo, Robert and Bernard; three sisters, Amelia Aebly, Adelaide Letellier and Melda Chevrier. Irene is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Everts Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Mass of Christian burial was at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 25 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Glenwood City. Concelebrants were Father William Murphy and Dennis Meulemans.
