Morrissette, 66 Clinton A. Morrissette, 66, of the town of Lucas, Dunn County, and formerly of Hudson, died Thursday, May 29, at the Myrtle Werth Hospital in Menomonie. He was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Somerset, the son of Arthur Joseph and Grace Mary Agnes (Cote) Morrissette. He came to Hudson with his family in 1941, attended St. Patrick’s Parochial School and graduated from Hudson High School. On Sept. 6, 1958, in Hudson, he was married to Mary Ellen Smith. For several years he worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation and later for the city of Glenwood City in St. Croix County. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mary Ellen, in 1992; a brother, Duane Morrissette; a sister, Francelia Bonse-Kilde; and a grandson, Carl. Surviving are his daughter, Laura Lea Odom of Menomonie; grandchildren, Arthur J. (Annie) Morrissette and Barbara A. (Jeremy) Morrissette both of Boyceville, Richard C. Christner and Janice L. Christner, both of Menomonie; three great-grandchildren Cole J. Morrissette, Trey M. and Hailey A. Brinker; two sisters, Joan Kennedy of Woodbury, Minn., and Joy Moilanen of Hudson; and two brothers, Douglas W. (Mary) Morrissette of Madison and Randolph L. “Randy” (Sandra) Morrissette of Hudson. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 3, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Glenwood City with Deacon Wesley Tuttle officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
