Butler, 86 Feb. 10, 1917 - June 4, 2003 Florence M. Butler of Glenwood City died Wednesday, June 4 at Myrtle Werth Hospital Mayo Health Systems in Menomonie. Florence was born Feb. 10, 1917 in the Township of Hay River, Dunn County, to Fred and May (Nelson) Stabenow. Florence married Arvin Butler April 7, 1936 in Knapp. She enjoyed gardening and caring for the chickens on the farm. Florence is preceded in death by her parents; husband Arvin; son Ralph; brothers, Harold and Robert Stabenow; sister Gladys Butler; daughter-in-law Jackie Butler; grandson Dennis Butler; and great-granddaughter Lyndzy Mae Martin. Florence is survived by sons, Ben (Sarah) Butler Sr. of Boyceville, and Marvin Butler Sr. of Glenwood City; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Chovan of Amery and Delores Stabenow of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; many special relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 7, at the Everts Funeral Home in Glenwood City.
