Mary Ann was born Sept. 6, 1957 in Hudson, the daughter of Harris and Lorraine Aronson. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Michael; mother Lorraine; two sisters, Susan (Wayne) Klegin and Jennifer (Craig) Deschene; four brothers, Bruce (Mary), Duane (Deb), Craig and David (Amy); father-in-law Paul Mack; aunts, Evelyn Ziegel, Gertrude Often and Harriet Buhr; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Harris and brother Gary. Mary Ann was baptized and confirmed at Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton, Minn. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1976 and was employed by 3M company in St. Paul before being married on July 23, 1983 to Michael Mack in New Richmond. Mary Ann received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and was employed by the School District of Rhinelander at James Williams Junior High School where she taught 8th grade science. She then earned her Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a Library Media Specialist and transferred to her school’s librarian position. Mary Ann’s greatest joys included spending time with family and friends, teaching, helping others, working in the garden and making crafts. Two memorial services will be held. The first will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk on Thursday, Sept. 11 with the Rev. Mark Ziemer officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. and be followed by refreshments. The family is requesting for this service, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in the name of Grace Lutheran Youth Education Program. The second service will be at Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton, Minn. on Sunday, Sept. 14 with the Rev. John Matthews and the Rev. Mark Ziemer officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The memorial service and interment will begin at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will follow. The family is requesting for this service, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in the name of the American Cancer Society.
