Colley, 48 Craig Brian Colley, 48, of Hudson died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 31, in the emergency room at Hudson Hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1955, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John V. and Mildred (Gunther) Colley. He attended grade school in Chicago, graduated from Hillsdale (Ill.) High School and for two years was a student at Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, Ill. He was previously employed, from 1978-1991, by the Klehm Nurseries in the Chicago area and currently was the perennial inventory assistant at the Bailey Nurseries in St. Paul. On Sept. 1, 1979, at the Community Church in Barrington, Ill., he was married to Tracey Ann Kron. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and traveling, listening to and playing music and was a member of the Nature Conservatory. Survivors are his wife, Tracey Ann; his father, John Colley of Chicago; two brothers-in-law, Don Amiotte of Palm Coast, Fla., and Steven Kron of Woodbury, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Sally (Dan) Vanderberg of Aurora, Colo.; nieces and nephews Amy and Michael Colley, Erin and Scott Amiotte, Brittany and Justin Kron, Christopher and Kimberly Vandenbergh; and his mother-in-law, Helen Kron of Naples, Fla. Preceding him in death were his mother, Mildred; two brothers, Michael and John; a sister, Maureen Amiotte; and his father-in-law, Richard Kron. Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hudson, followed by the Celebration of Life service with Father Bob Roberts officiating. Burial was private.
