(Benson) Belisle, 66 Oct. 14, 1936 - Aug. 28, 2003 Marie Y. (Benson) Belisle died Thursday, Aug. 28 in Phoenix, Ariz. following a long illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1936, the daughter of Ed and Betty (Hawkins) Benson and was raised in New Richmond, graduating from New Richmond High School in 1954. She married John Belisle from Somerset on April 7, 1956. They lived in the Somerset area and raised five children. Their first trip to Arizona was a two week vacation, many years ago. They enjoyed the warm winters and decided to make their permanent home there 13 years ago. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John; and their children, Steve (Linda) of Brighton, Mich., Sandi (John) Reed of Amery, Kym (David) Dunleap of Somerset, Scott (Chris) of Boardman, and Mark (Jackie) of Mesa, Ariz. She was proud Me’me’ to her grandchildren, (Steve) Jamie, Molly, (Sandi) Kennedy, Austin, (Kym) Katie, Jake, Davin, Sophie, Phoebe, (Mark) Colton and Sierra.
