Your cousin Dorothy is my cousin. Dor use to babysit for my older brothers. Which of the Rivards are you descended from? Dor's grandfather, George(Judd) and my grandfather Fred were brothers. How are you connnected to that bunch which includes Dauphus, Oscar, Delia, Hermina, Phillip, Art (A.J.)etc? I use to be part of the Rivard Forum, but couldn't keep up the time it took to do justice. Actually my mother grew up a Revor. The story we heard was the teacher spelled their last name phonetically and some of the kids kept it and some didn't! So common back then. I would like to hear from you and know how we are connected. I have an old penny postcard of the farm on the St. Croix where my grandpa and all his brothers and sisters grew up.

    1. REQUEST FOR OBIT LOOKUPS
    2. Dear Listers, Just wanted to pass along some helpful hints for sending me requests for searches. I have found that if you provide me with some or all of the following then the search is quite more successful. NAME (including middle initial if possible) MAIDEN NAME & MARRIED NAME (including spouses name if known) DATE OF DEATH (at least approximate) DATE OF BIRTH (if known) TOWN OF LOCATION (last known) If you do not have any these, please provide what you do have. Any little bit helps and will give you better results. I have received many requests over the past few days and have had quite a lot of success. Thanks to all of you and Happy New Year!

My Grandmother and her brother and sister's attended this church from 1919-1960. I was wondering if anyone had a group picture of the confirmation class from 1930, 1932, and the following years. I am unsure when exactly her brother and sisters would have been confirmed. Their names were Victoria Gebhard would have been confirmed about 1930 Isabell Gebhard would have been confirmed about 1932 Fritz ( Frederick) Gebhard would have been confirmed about 1934/1935 Esther Gebhard would have been confirmed about 1937/1938 and Priscilla Gebhard ( Priscilla would have been confirmed in 1958) I am not totally sure of the dates of when they were confirmed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, John Uhlman

    3. Dear Researchers, It is my custom to send you all Christmas greetings every year. I've gotten my family's website updated, so it's time to let you all know that you can get to know me better by pointing your browser to http://www.masterharper.com. I do pray that your will "find" some information during this season - maybe one of your relatives will suddenly remember a fact or piece of information that will help you over your brick wall, or a relative will find some old family photos that they'll share with you. Whatever your biggest genealogy wish would be, I hope these holidays will bring you closer to their fulfillment. Please remember that many new genealogy researchers will get their new computers and genealogy software programs this Christmas. Please welcome their questions and enthusiasm. Try to stay patient and teach good research habits! Many blessings! Roxanne ListHostess
