Dustin grew up in rural Amery and graduated from Amery High School in 1991. He most recently has been employed with Polaris in Osceola. Dustin was a very gifted individual and it was evident in the activities and hobbies that he enjoyed. He was a very talented artist, poet, and also made pottery. He loved music, especially playing his guitar and singing songs. Dustin loved kids and was a caretaker for all of his family, taking extra special care of his mother Delores. On Friday morning, June 13, 2003, Dustin was killed in an automobile accident in Milltown Township. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father Robert; brother David; and sister Patricia Brandt. He will be deeply missed by his mother Delores; brothers and sisters Sandy Dion, Kathy (Gary) Haley, Dan (Kelly) Sylte, Paul (Jackie) Sylte, and Jackie (Dale) Feyen; nieces; nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
