Dear Sir or Madam, I am constantly looking for information about the Wisniewski family, especially its branch close to mine. My ancestor (my grand-grandfather) Aleksander (Alexander) Wisniewski left Poland to the United States about 1909 or 1910. According to the family documents, Aleksander Wisniewski was born in 1877 in LEONCIN, and died tragically, about 1939. In Poland he left his wife Rozalie (Rosalie) and two children - son Waclaw (born 1905) and daughter Karoline (born 1907). He travelled with his brother Jan (John) Wisniewski (born in 1881 in LEONCIN). Alexander and John's sister LEONCYNA (born in 1879 in LEONCIN) remained in Poland. In the United States, Jan (John) Wisniewski married and (probably) had two sons, one of them was a pilot. That is all I know about that branch of the family. In exchange for any information concerning the American line of the Wisniewski family I am able to offer the history of its Polish part which I have well documented. Looking forward to any response
