Wisniewski, Kraus, Jurska, Lazinski, Shubert, Lozinski, Nowak, Petta, Rogowski, Rogers,Witkowski, Pfieffer, Boland, Drewek, Dunn, Kleinschmidt, Wise, Kierkilo, Galiszewski, There were 5 children born to Andrew WISNIEWSKI and Wostice KRAUS. They lived in a village called Wielowies which is near a town called Inowroclawia in the Province of Bydgoszcz. There was a Casimir (older brother who remained in Poland); Maria JURSKA (sister who remained in Poland), a Antoinette, a Mrs. LAZINSKI who lived in Milwaukee; and Jon/John WISNIEWSKI. Antoinette (January 05, 1871-January 13, 1927) married Theodore SHUBERT and lived in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania most of her life. Pelagia/Palacia married a LOZINSKI/LAZINSKI and settled somewhere in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the early 1900's. Jon WISNIEWSKI born May 16, 1866 in Wielowies, Bydgoszcz, Poland came to America. Says he arrived in the US in June in the year 1893. Antoinette and Pelagia/Palacia (his sisters) came with him to America. John was a coal miner in Shamokin/Enterprize/Brady area of Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. However, the marriage document certifies that John WISNIEWSKI and Eleanor NOWAK were married on 13 February 1893 according to the Roman Catholic Church and in conformity with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. Rev. Constantinus Marszatowicz was the official Witnesses were: John George KIERKILO and John GALISZEWSKI. John and Eleanor had 8 children: 7 girls and 1 boy: Veronica Winnifred WISNIEWSKI born January 14, 1894 in Shamokin, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania; married Andrew Philip PETTA, Sr. on July 25, 1916 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Cudahy, Wisconsin; died June 27, 1962 in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson Co., Wisconsin; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin Stella E WISNIEWSKI born October 26, 1895 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; married Stanley J. WITKOWSKI on September 30, 1919; Holy Family Catholic Church, Cudahy, Wisconsin; died September 02, 1981 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Marie WISNIEWSKI born January 23, 1898 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; married Charles Dennis ROGOWSKI (later changed to ROGERS) on ; August 15, 1923 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Cudahy, Wisconsin; died in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Victoria WISNIEWSKI born December 14, 1899 said to have been born while on the way to Wisconsin or shortly after arriving in Wisconsin; July 08, 1981 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Never married. Boyfriend was John PFIEFFER. Julia WISNIEWSKI born November 26, 1901 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; married Jack BOLAND; died March 01, 1971 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Helen A. WISNIEWSKI born December 25, 1903 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; married William Bernard DREWEK on February 17, 1941 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; died September 29, 1994; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sophie WISNIEWSKI born March 08, 1906 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin; married William Francis DUNN in Cudahy, Milwaukee County; still living-Feb 2002.. Anthony Maximillian WISNIEWSKI born June 03, 1908 in Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin married Albertine KLEINSCHMIDT on June 30, 1934; died January 12, 1999; buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery; South Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
