The letter 1/Sgt.Charles J Wisniewski, 36105487, sent to my Aunt after my Uncle Walter was killed, was dated 5 March 1945 from Paris. He couldn't have been your Uncle Chester. I have my Uncle's military information from the archives but have not searched for Charles Wisniewski's.
