His name was Wladyslaw Wisniewski born 1884 in Linowek, Poland near Suwalki. I believe his parents were Antoni & Anna (?) They had several children - in addition to my granfather, I know of his siblings: Apolina, Andrea and Frank who, I believe, settlted in Chicago. Wladyslaw Wisniewski came over to the States in 1901 on the USS Barbarossa. He settled in Norwich and then Preston , CT. He married Domenica Rutkowska (also from the Sulwalki area. Her parents were Adama Rutkowski and Marjanny (Martha/ Marianne?) Perkowska ) and they had 10 children. Any info would be appreciated.
