We're talking about the same general region in Poland so perhaps there's a connection: Jan Tomasz Wisniewski b. 07Mar1882, Mlawa, Mazowieckie, Poland d. 30Nov1959, Harwood Heights, IL m. 02Feb1918, Chicago, IL married Malgorzata Zofia (Stobiecki) Szmatka Father: Roch Lived in or visited: Borowice, Masovian Voivodeship Mother: unknown Siblings: unknown John made multiple trips between Poland and the US over the years. Earliest I can find is 1904. I know he was living in Chicago by 1912. I know John had two daughters with Malgorzata but don't know if he was married before or had other children.
