He came to US (Carrollton Twp, MI) in 1884 with his wife Veronika (married in Poland in 1882) and infant son Josef. His death certificate list his country of birth as Germany (also for his parents, but his nationality was Polish - thus, then German area of now Poland) and father's name as Math. and his mother's name as Catherine Wirtz (as best I can read by the handwriting). Also, the family was Catholic. Am seeking to learn what city/town/village from which they came and whether any relatives (by now probably 3rd cousins) exist.
