hi, my grandfather was john wisniewski. he came to detroit mich about 1908 with his family from muszyna, nowy sacz, poland. the family was father- michal, mother- sofia, brothers- anthony thomas, joseph, and casimer. anthony born 1893, john 1897, joe 1899, casimer 1901. i have discovered a sister, francisca born 1895. i haven't found a death record for her yet but she apparently didn't come to the US either. (a sister helen was born in mich) the family name in the polish records is wisniowski. state side they went by wisniewski. also, anthony, who went by the name of thomas was single in the 1920 census and divorced in 1930. in a 1925 detroit directory, a charlotte was living with the family. was this thomas's wife? were there any children??? don't know anything about joe either. anyone know this family?? thanks, kathy
