"Cherry" Wisniewski, of Waterford,PA, passed April 23, 2012, at his residence. Born March 5, 1930, in the house he lived for 82 years, he was the son of the late Stanislaus and Cecelia (Grabowski) Wisniewski and the husband of Doris Marie (Beers) Wisniewski. Albert was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and had worked for Richard Young as a finishing carpenter and retired from GE. Cherry loved: pitching horseshoes, hunting, farming, spending time with his family, telling childhood stories, telling jokes, polkas, and his animals. In addition to his beloved wife of 60 years, he is survived by seven daughters, Theresa Glover and husband, Mike, Cecelia Baughman, Antoinette Biebel and husband, David, Alberta Smith, Jeanette Hess and husband, Arnold, Corinne Snyder and husband, Robert, all of Waterford, and Barbara Crotty and husband, David, of Lawrence Park; 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Bittinger; many nieces and nephews and his loving dog, Daisy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley ! Wisniewski and Frank Wisniewski; sisters, Josephine Mahoney, Nellie Joint, Annabelle Mangoni, and Betty Yurchack; grandchildren, Sarah, Mathew and Haley Hess, Michael Crotty, Erin Lynn Crotty and a son-in-law, Larry Smith. Family and friends will be received at Morgan-Pandolph Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Union City, today, Wednesday, April 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 26, at 11 a.m. with Father Tom Whitman, pastor at All Saints Catholic Church, Waterford.
