Posted on: WISNIEWSKI Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/surnames/w/i/WISNIEWSKI/queries/3 Surname: Wisniewski, Woznick, Brach ------------------------- I have Josephine/Jozefine WISNIEWSKI (several spelling variations) listed as the sponsor to at least 2 children in my WOZNIAK/WOZNICK family around 1905-1908 in Long Island, NY, specifically in Port Washington and Elmhurst. She must have been Roman Catholic to be their godparents. I'd love to learn more about her. I have no additional info on her family...but am hoping knowledge of her may lead me to learn more on my own family tree of WOZNICK's. Her god children's parents were Albert WOZNICK and Maryanna BRACH.
