They settled in Shamokin PA. I lost them as of the 1920 census. My mother was born there in 1905. I found an Aunt (Anna) and Uncle (Michael) in an orphanage in Emsburg PA in 1920. (Uncle Mike changed his name to Veneski). I think the 1918 flu had something to do with it. My grandmother may have remarried, and I saw an obit listing a sister, Rose, of Bear Gap.

Dear Becky, Do you know your grandparents names? You can find them by getting a copy of your father's birth certificate which you can order from the state of Michigan. Go back as far as you can with newspaper articles, church records etc. you have to do some of the leg work yourself before anyone can help you.

I know of a Frank Wisniewski - son of Michael & Katherine. They lived in Allegan Co, MI next to my ancestors (likely related). I think Frank lived in Chicago at one point. Have a photo of him. He would have been born around 1860. Arrived in the US in 1870.
