    1. [Wisniewski] Frank B. Wisniewski Death Certificate
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: cherylodette Surnames: Wisniewski Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.wisniewski/365/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I ordered a death certificate for what I thought was my great-great grandfather, Frank C. Wisniewski. It turned out the death certificate was not for him, but rather for a Frank B. Wisniewski, who is not related to me. I would be happy to e-mail a copy of the certificate to anyone who this may be helpful to. Here are the particulars: Frank B. Wisniewski. Date of birth 9-12-1878. Date of death 7-31-1963. He was widowed. He was born in Poland but no city is listed. He was a janitor at Stewart-Warner Corp. Name of father and mother is listed as unknown. His residence was 2020 W. Crystal Street, Chicago, IL. It states he lived there for 47 years. The certificate was signed by his daughter, Angeline Wajda. I'm not sure I'm spelling the last name right. His funeral was at Malec Funeral Home, 834 N. Ashland Avenue, Chicago, IL. He was buried at St. Adalberts in Niles, IL. I've pretty much listed all the information on the certificate. Although I'm disappointed I ordered a death certificate for the wrong person, if it can help someone else, I'd be happy to send a copy to you. She was born in Poland in 1880 and emigated to Pennsylvania in 1910 through Balitimore Maryland. Her father was Matthew Wisniewski and her mother was Eva. It seems that she married before she left Poland. She married Stanislaw Dombrowski and they had two children before she came here.....Rozalia and Joseph. Any connection? 1. list admin announcement - must read
    2. Hello, everyone, By now most or all of you should have received word from RootsWeb about the mailing lists changing over to a new, upgraded list management system. However, this list is going to "migrate" early - sometime today - as part of part of a final test of the new system. As subscribers, you should experience nothing different in the way you receive list mail, with the exception of digest subscribers. For those of you who received the digest, you may notice a couple of minor differences. The digest volume and issue numbers may change after the switch to the new system. The top portion of the digest may look a little different. Also, for those who receive their digest in MIME format (with the messages as attachments rather than displayed as inline text), you will need to contact me to set your digest setting to send out in MIME format. The method of subscribing and unsubscribing to the list will be a tiny bit different. To unsubscribe, users no longer need to send the -L or -D. Simply send a message to WISNIEWSKI-request@rootsweb.com to unsubscribe - regardless of whether you are subscribed in list mode or digest mode. Also, messages sent to the list no longer need to include the -L in the address. Therefore, messages sent to the list are now sent to WISNIEWSKI@rootsweb.com. Again, let me state that subscribers should very minimal changes in the way the list runs, and there is nothing you need do to continue being subscribed to this list. Regards, Marie, list admin WISNIEWSKI surname list
