I'm a new subscriber to this group, and pretty new at genealogy, too. I know my 2g-grandfather, Aaron Huyck, moved to the area from Canada in about 1852, but I don't have much information about which of his 11 children or other family members moved there with him. My line of descent comes through his 7th child, James Wellington Huyck. His son, James Herbert Huyck was my grandfather. He died when I was 3 and I just barely remember meeting him. My father, James Kenneth Huyck, was born in Hingham. I know I have a number of cousins in the Sheboygan Falls area, and I'm confident there area others I don't know of. Does anyone on the mailing list know of anyone with information about this family group? I saw reference once to a family Bible used by Aaron's family - one which was rescued from a burning church or library or something in the south during the Civil War.
