    3. About a year ago I posted a message in reference to a Trester family (railroad people) that lived in Curtiss, Clark County, Wisconsin. The text of the message was that this particular family was originally from Waukesha County (sorry, I do not know the city) and had basically moved north when the Wisconsin Central Railroad made it's way through Central Wisconsin. The time period of this event was between 1890 and 1920. One of the daughters (do not know the parents names) married my grandfathers brother in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Township of Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin. Her name was Anna Marie geb. Trester and basic family information was given as birth in Waukesha County on May 31 1886. Her marriage to Alexander Wilhelm Herman Lipprandt was on March 17 1906, death was October 21 1979 in Abbotsford, Clark County, Wisconsin. She is buried at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (aka North Green Grove), Township of Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin. She had four children, Walter (no children), Lydia (Bierbaum) (five children), Helen (Grube) (twelve children) and Elvira (Rausch) (five children). If the above information proves of interest to you, please contact me and I can give you eMail addresses of some of the descendants. He was married to Elizabeth Heuel. She also died @1889 in Milwaukee. They died of TB. They left two small children: Alfred and Adelaide Trester. I don't know what Hubert did or when he arrived in Milwaukee. I heard at one time that the Tresters had come from Sheboygan. Originally they came from the Alsace Lorraine area of Germany--although it might have belonged to France. My dad always said that Trester had been spelled Trestaire a long time ago in Europe. My parents traveled to Europe about 18 years ago and found a store named Trester Wines--and brought back a bottle of wine with the Trester label on it. My mother might remember what town it was. > > Unfortunately I have no links other than what I have written. > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
