    1. [WI-Sheboy] St. George Church, Sheboygan County
    2. Hi everyone, I am looking for the exact whereabouts of St. George Catholic Church, Now St. Thomas Aquinas. I looked at a 1878 plat map, and saw a church in the Town of Wilson, about half way down, on the boarder of the Town of Lima. Could this be St. George? Also does anyone know if the old church records from the founding of the church to the early 1900's are available for public veiwing anyplace. Thank you, Bobbi

    3. Hi, All Catholic church records up to 1920 are housed at the archdiocese of Milwaukee. Even if you write to the church, they will forward your letter there. The St. George in the Town of Wilson is not the same St. George's you are asking about. At one time in Sheboygan County there were 2 St. George's Church. The one in the Town of Rhine area is now St. Thomas Aquinas. The church itself is located in the Elkhart Lake area, the church records to 1920 are at the Milwaukee Archidocese. Hope this helps, Debie At 09:16 AM 11/19/2003, you wrote: >Hi everyone, > > I am looking for the exact whereabouts of St. George Catholic Church, > Now >St. Thomas Aquinas.
