Berth, who passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Feldman in town of Rhine,was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Feldman residence and at 1:30 o'clock at the Johnsonville Vriesen Church. The Rev. Vriesen officiated and the interment was make in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Berth was born in Uckermark, Germany, on January 24,1855. He was united in marriage on November 12,1892. His wife preceded him in death on January 3,1931. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Anna Albrecht of Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Martha Martin, Milwaukee; Fred Berth, town of Sheboygan Falls:and Mrs. Frieda Feldman, town of Rhine: a half brother, Ferdinand Berth of town of Greenbush; one sister. Mrs. Carl Schultz, Fond du Lac County, and by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
