    3. Are you aware of the civil war roster database through the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum? It's a database of enlistments in Wisconsin regiments only - you can also have a document printed detailing your soldier's service record. Their website explains the details but you may have to request someone on their staff (or an independent researcher) to get the printed details for you - I don't think the full features are available through the website.
