My husband and I are traveling across country this summer and expect to be in the Sheb. County, Wis. around June 29, 30. We are hoping to find some people and sites, the address of the old homestead, records, etc. and to connect with family. My mother Myrtle Desmidt (born in 1907) grew up in Battle Lake Minn. Her father was Abram son of Jennes Desmidt (son of Abraham) and Elizabeth Claerbout. Anybody know of any family still living in the Sheb. area that might want to meet us? Kathy
