In rechecking my records, I now question whether the Susanna Molitor who married Anton Nonnemacher is the same person as the Susan in the Town Holland 1880 census. The former was likely born around 1853, the later abt 1845. Also the former married in 1875 so she would not have appeared as unmarried in the 1880 census. So also remove Susan's brother Peter from this family group. The others (Nicolaus and Josephina) likely remain siblings of Susanna, all likely children of Peter and Margaretha Molitor. Also might your Peter Molitor have had an earlier wife? Could the Bernhart Molitor (b.abt 1838 in Luxembourg and living in the 1880 Tn Sherman, Sheb Co census with his bro John, b.abt 1849 in WI), be a sibling of the Susan (b.abt 1845 in Germany and living in Tn Holland with her brother Peter, the latter b.abt 1856 in WI)? Peter and John fit into your family tree and Bernhart and Susan might be children of a prior marriage. I still strongly suspect that all these Molitor's/Moletor's/Mollitor's who appeared in Sheboygan, northern Ozaukee and northeastern Fond du Lac Co connect up somehow and somewhere. Luxembourg and western Prussia come together above France, the whole area being considered Germany at some point. I could see where these Molitor's might all be related in some fashion despite their different census affiliations. Just some thoughts to share. Tom Lutz
Also Molitor's in Western Taylor County.
