Surnames: Thieme, Samp Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/2FC.2ACI/1800 Message Board Post: this is not the usual Thieme in WI lines for Clark County, or even Sheboygan (not Frederick as far as I can tell). 1860 US Census for Abbott Township, Sheboygan (page 14 of 696) Carl Thieme married to Frederika (1825), daughters Emilie and Frederike. 1880 US Census for Sherman Township, Sheboygan. Carl Thieme married to a young Alvena (b. 1851), with Gustave born in 1867, followed by Otto, Carl Jr. , Alvena, Loisa. Possibly and 2nd Marriage for Carl. Gustave ends up in Cecil, Shawano, WI in 1895-1925....has three children Frieda, Harry, Esther. Does anyone have anything on this branch of Thieme's?
