The primary person is Johann Maass [Maaß], occupation Stellmacher [a wheelwright?], born Regenwalde, residence Maldewin [few miles south of Regenwalde], born Sept 1, 1806. The following were apparently his children: Wilhelm born Sept 26, 1841, August born Oct 29, 1843, Gottlieb born Dec 28, 1845, Florin [sp??] Chriten [sp??] born Aug 22, 1848 [last digit of year could be a 9], Friedrich born Oct 1, 1850, Albert born June 29, 1853, and Bertha also born June 29, 1853. Passport was dated March 15th, 1855, Stettin, on the front and on the second page "Labes on the 15th March 1855," and also, "......the Stelmacher Maß ..?.. from here, ..?.. Hamburg to North America ........... Maldewin, the 9th April 1855, Kroning Schutz". On the second page is three columns describing three people: 1. "The ..?.. ..?.. Stellmacher Maaß Johanne geb. Carow, birthplace Stargard, residence Maldewin, born Nov 4, 1813 ............" [this may be Johann's wife?]; 2. Carl Heinrich Wilhelm Maaß, born Gross Borckenhagen [a few miles west of Labes], residence Maldewin, born Oct 21, 1835; and 3. Wilhelmine Maaß, born Borckenhagen, residence Maldewin, born March 9, 1837 [2. and 3. may be adult children of Johann, born 1806].
