Jankow Charles E. Jankow, route 3, town of Wilson, passed away at St. Nicholas hospital early Sunday morning after a short illness. Born in the town of Wilson July 12, 1879, he attended rural school and worked on the home farm. He was married to Miss Olga Gartman December 12, 1903, in town of Wilson. The couple always made their home on the homestead farm. He was a member of the school board of District No. 4 and also town treasurer for several years. He is survived by his wife, and five children, two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Elvera) Moening of Sheboygan Falls, Raymond at home, Mrs. Marlin (Milda) Miller of town of Wilson, Harvey of Newton, route 1, Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Gosse of Sheboygan Falls, route 3; one brother, William, town of Wilson; one sister, Mrs. Hugo Gartman of this city; nine grandchildren also survive. One son passed away in infancy, as did two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at the Ramm Funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Kenneth Krueger of the First Evangelical church will officiate, with burial in the family lot in Fladers Rest cemetery. Jankow Funeral services for Charles E. Jankow, route 3, Sheboygan, who passed away Sunday morning at St. Nicholas hospital, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Ramm Funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Krueger of the First Evangelical church officiating. Burial was made in Fladers Rest cemetery. During the services Wallace Miller, accompanied by Mrs. W. E. Bassett, sang "Abide With Me" and "One Sweet Solemn Thought." Pallbearers were Marvin Fritsch, Norman and Robert Gartman, Edwin Butgereit, Elwell Janko and Melvin Herbst. Among those from away who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Art Yankow and Mr. and Mrs. George Yankow of Campbellsport; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yankow of Lomira; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koehn, Mrs Henry Vander Kinder and Miss Eunice Yankow of Milwaukee; Mrs Louis Schramm of Fond du Lac; Mrs. Henry Langenhahn and family of Spring Valley and many others from town of Wilson and town of Sheboygan Falls.
