Hi Listers, Just a quick note to let you know that FamilyDiscovery has taken on a new look. A few of my friends and I received an e-mail tonight informing us we were signed up to a new "free bi-weekly newsletter". We didn't have an option to subscribe or not, we were automatically subscribed. The name of this newsletter is called GenTruth. Upon further examination of this "newsletter" we have found that it is a new form to advertise FamilyDiscovery. To those of you who have been on the mailing lists for a while now, you may remember these people. For those of you who are new, we want to notify you of this "company". FamilyDiscovery is a web-company that charges a fee (either a 3 month trial or one time lifetime fee). Over time the company has become a bit more truthful as to what it does, originally it linked to other people's free on-line information. Now it does claim that this is a genealogical search engine. I am not telling you not to be subscribed to the newsletter. I just want to make you aware that you can access everything on the internet that they can show you and you can do it for free.
