She is called Joan Houmes, she was the only daughter of Jan Houmes en Katharina de Pagter. Jan and Katharina were both born in Westkapelle (The Netherlands, where I live) and emigrated in october 1924 to Shebfalls. Joan is also born in 1924 (or 1925), like the relative of mine, who corresponded with her for a few years. Joan got married with James Rigsby and moved to Yuba City (I don't know what state). They later divorced. Is there anybody who knows more about Joan, or still knows her, I and especially my relative (Joan's niece) would very appreciated it! Thanks in advance, Anne J. C.
