Hi, While researching MY Lindsay family in Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin, I came across the following article and thought maybe it would help someone out there looking for Samuel F. Lindsay. I don't know anything more about him. Kay R Article from The Sheboygan Press April 9, 1925 SAMUEL F. LINDSAY, MANAGER OF KLASSEN STORE TRANSFERRED Samuel, F. Lindsay, manager of the Klassen store here for the past four years, has been transferred to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he will take over the management of another branch of the Klassen stores. He left Wednesday evening to take immediate charge and Mrs. Lindsay and her mother, Mrs. Minnie Harrlson will leave in about a week to join him there. Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay came here from Evansville, Indiana, where he had been manager of one of the Klassen stores. He was a successful manager during the four years here and it was through his efforts that the business was brought up to its present high standards. During their residence in this city Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay made many friends. Mr. Lindsay was a member of the K. of P. bowling team and Mrs. Lindsay was socially active. She was a member of the Woman's Club, Music Club and the Friendship Circle of The King's Daughters. Mr. Lindsay is pleased with his promotion as it gives him the opportunity to work in a larger business field and to work on bigger business principles. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay here wish them success in their new location. They have been residing at 1204 North Seventh street.
