Zimmermann Mrs. Hilda E. Zimmermann, 87, a resident of Sunny Ridge the past nine years, died Thursday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital following a brief illness. The former Hilda Neese, she was born in Sheboygan on Sept. 15, 1897, a daughter of the late Gottfried and Wilhelmina Bliesner Neese. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School. On Dec. 6, 1919, she and Theodore Zimmermann of Sheboygan were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He died Dec. 30, 1946. Mrs. Zimmermann resided at 1515 Illinois Ave. before moving to Sunny Ridge in 1975. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, its Senior Citizens group, and was a former 25-year member of Wolf-Olsen VFW Post 1230 Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, LeRoy of Milwaukee and Theodore, Sheboygan; a daughter, Mrs. Helmuth (Mildred) Eberhardt of Sheboygan; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Steven E. Thomas, associate pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday and on Monday until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Zimmermann's name.
