His home is at 2130 S. Twelfth street. The victim and a fellow worker, Albert Jones, were hurled from a scaffolding forty feet above ground to the concrete base of a kiln at the pottery plant at Kohler on October 11. The fall was caused when the temporary supports gave way, nearly carrying other workers to the ground with the planks. Mr. Mueller was rushed to the St. Nicholas hospital immediately after the accident. An examination revealed a fractured skull, compound fracture of both wrists and other injuries. He was reported slightly improved a short time ago but never recovered from the effects of the fall. Deceased was born on May 9, 1888, in this city and was united in marriage with Miss Theresa Drews on June 12, 1911, in Sheboygan. He is survived by his wife and eight children, Laverne aged 17, Harley, 12, LeRoy, 11, Carol, 9, Bernice, 7, Henry, 6, Myron, 5, and Carlos, 2. Mr. Mueller also leaves to mourn his death, his father, Henry Mueller, and two brothers, Rudolph and Harry Mueller of this city. His mother died on August 7, 1928. The remains were removed to the Ramm Funeral parlors Sunday evening and will be removed to the family residence, 2130 South Twelfth street Tuesday afternoon. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the home. The Rev. E.R. Krueger, pastor of St. John's Evangelical church will officiate and interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------ Funeral - Sheboygan (WI) Press, Fri, Nov 30, 1928, p21 Hold Last Rites For Man Who Fell From Scaffold Last rites for Arthur Mueller, who died at St. Nicholas hospital Sunday evening of injuries sustained in a fall from a scaffolding at the Kohler plant, were held from the late home, 2130 S. 12th street, Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. E.R. Krueger officiated and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery. A quartet composed of the Rev. and Mrs. Krueger, Miss Eleanor Krueger and Miss Evelyn Schultz sang two selections, "Rock of Ages" and Nearer My God to Thee." The pallbearers were: Otto Ring, Frank Siefert, Folmar Martenze, Otto Kohls, Robert Rakow and Gust Wollert.
