Michael Wagner born March 11, 1829 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg immigrated to America with his father, John Wagner, his sister, Regina; and his three brothers, Franz, John, & J. Mic. They sailed from Antwerp, Belgium on the ship "Tropic" and arrived in New York on October 10, 1854. The Wagner's settled in the Town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. St. Wendel's has marriage records of some of the children of Michael Wagner, but I have been told that there was a Catholic Church in Sheboygan County, very near the county line where the family lived, that burned to the ground, and it may have contained the earlier records of this family.
