Hi Listers, I am writing to give you a warning about a scam that is running wild. There is a new website called Family Discovery. This website charges a fee for a trail or for "lifetime" membership. What this website has done is went around and created a bunch of links using frames. When you click on one of these links, it appears to still be a part of the website. This is one of the reasons all of my pages has the box on top of each page letting people know this information can be accessed for free. In the past Family Discovery has created these links to Genweb sites and other people's material and left the impression it was material they put together on their own. I am just warning each of you as the letter below is being sent to people who have posted to the Genconnect boards and also to Genweb coordinators. You do not get anything here that you can't find on your own or by going to Cyndi's list, which is free. You don't have to sign up to this website as they have nothing that can't be found free.
