The birth vital indexes are on-line on the website. I don't believe I have them to 1912 yet, but they are to 1907 for sure. That may be of help. Have you checked the 1905 and 1910 census? They are coming way down the road, but that doesn't help you now. Have you checked for death records and obits? Debie

I do not know where August and Emma lived, worked, worshiped, died, etc. I also do not know if they had any children or where they lived, worked, worshipped, died, etc. I have hit a wall ! PS - I also listed August's birth year incorrectly - should be 1881.

She is the daughter of Richard Emil LINDNER and Sophia BECKER. Her father had moved to Sheboygan, WI from Calumetville, WI. He was a shoemaker Her brother Lemuel who apparently took over the shoe store died in March 1978 at Rocky Knoll Health Care in Sheboygan Falls. On the 1900 census the family is listed with an 8-yr-old daughter named Della. My mom said they also had a son named Remo. The only listings in the birth records of the city are for Lemuel and Naomi, although there were a couple without first names.

That is definitely my ancestor, David BUSS. I am also a descendant of the PLAUTZ family. I believe the Herman and Wilhelm PLAUTZ you mentioned, were David BUSS' great-grandsons who died young. Yes, I would like a photo of the tombstone, if possible. Thank you, DeAnna

Union Cemetery is located three miles west of the village of Silver Creek. It looks like they are both children of Henry and Hannah M. McCormack. The tombstone transcription reads: McCormack Mary Jane, died Nov. 25, 1857 aged 2 yrs. 4 mos. (on same stone with) Hannah Angeline, died Feb. 5, 185? aged 9 yrs. 4 mos. Children of Henry & Hannah M. Farmin Cemetery is about 4-5 miles southwest of Sheboygan Falls on Hwy. 28, according to the cemetery transcription of the cemetery at the Mead Library in Sheboygan, his tombstone reads geb. 30 Nov. 1806/gest. 8 Apr. 1902 He's buried between Herman Plautz and Wilhelm Plautz. There are also Schwarz and Truttschel family members around them. If you'd like a digital photo of the tombstone, I can snap one the next time I drive past. And thanks for the info. It's interesting to know what the old cemetery names are. I'd assume that Hwy 28 was known as Dye Road since there are no other road bounding the cemetery. Hope this helps. Peggy Hoffmann

Hi Listers, Guess I should have waited a minute or two as the server is now back up and running and the county pages are once again accessible. Debie
Hi Fellow Researchers, Just a quick note to let you know that the Freepages server is currently down, which means that the Sheboygan & Calumet county pages are not accessible at this time. I have contacted Rootsweb and was told that their techs are working on getting the server back up. I will keep you all posted, Happy Holidays! Debie
