He was born January 3, 1922 in Antigo, the son of the late Henry and Mary Josephine (Jansen) Kautza. On October 29, 1947 Clifford was united in marriage to Catherine Lenzner in Aniwa. She survives. Clifford was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Larry (Kathy) Kautza, LaCrosse, Peter (Cathy) Kautza, Colorado Springs, Co and Mark (Debbie) Kautza, Antigo; five daughters, Mary Jo (Duane) Ninnemann, Aniwa, Patricia (Richard) Ottman, Cottage Grove, Georgine Kautza, Kaukauna, Bernadette (Michael) Pawelcyzk, Hortonville and Anna (Dean) Schardt, Sun Prairie; one adopted daughter, Kris Fahrback, Kaukauna; one brother, Leonard (Maude) Kautza, Aniwa; one sister, Monica (George) Steckbauer, Schofield; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Sherman, Bernard and Walter. Funeral services were held January 4, 1992 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev.
