He was born November 11, 1957 in Wausau, the son of William and Mary Ann (Menting) Bauer, Birnamwood. In addition to his parents, Raymond is survived by his paternal grandmother, Bertha Bauer, Birnamwood; three brothers, James Bauer, Denver, CO, Charles Bauer, Birnamwood and Michael Bauer, Antigo; and two sisters, Mary Bauer and Catherine Bauer, both of Eau Claire. Funeral services were held August 15, 1988 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Donald Laux officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
