She was born August 2, 1886 in Germany, the daughter of the late Joe Resch. Barbara was united in marriage to Frank Sippl. He survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, William (LaVerne) Sippl, Joe (Dolores) Sippl and Ed (Jeanette) Sippl, all of Birnamwood; four daughters, Mary (Frank) Beran, Aniwa, Bertha (Lawrence) Schmidt, Kimberly, Irene (Joseph) Kriha, Birnamwood and Ann (Wilfred) Traska, Wausau; and grandchildren. Funeral services were held November 27, 1954 at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Aniwa. The Rev. Henry Kuhl officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
